The Russian Razor-Hide

"The eight ton Razor-Hide is found in the seasonal taigas of Russia. During winter they dig up a large mound to sleep in and then hibernate throughout the colder months of the year. Razor-Hides are generally passive dragons, although they can quickly turn agressive if they or their young are harrassed. To a person who has never studied Razor-Hides before, their scales may seem to be made of a metallic substance. However, Razor-Hides have normal scales like any other dragon. The scales themselves are all extremely sharp. The largest scales on a Razor-Hide are prized by hunters as they make excellent swords. Young Razor-Hides, even from birth, are covered in these blades. This makes the Razor-Hide a dragon that nothing (bar humans) chooses to be its prey. Razor-Hides are also flightless from birth.
